• The collection of the Whatcom Genealogical Society is housed at the library. Members are usually available to assist the public on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

• A small book library includes Bellingham/Whatcom County directories for most years from 1905/06 to 1980. Microform information includes Washington State death (1907) and birth indexes (1907-1954). A trained staff is on duty during operating hours (Wed. and Thurs. 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, Sat. 10:00 am to 4:00 pm) for family researchers. Microfilm and microfische readers and printers are available along with two computers for Family Search.

Whatcom County Library System
The Whatcom County Library System is comprised of nine branch libraries, a bookmobile which serves outlying areas, and an outreach program for people unable to access the collections through a visit to the library or the bookmobile.
