Lawrence Public School in Lawrence, WA. Lawrence was originally a shingle town established by the Lawrence Shingle Company. The Lawrence Public School was built in 1908 and became part of the Mount Baker School District in 1941. Community fairs were held each fall in the Lawrence school gymnasium.
