Hotel Laube, Bellingham, WA, ca.1904. Named after Bellingham resident Charles Laube, this three-story brick structure was built on Elk Street (now N. State Street) in the latter part of 1903. The upper two floors contained 50 rooms which were designed to accommodate traveling businessmen. In 2001 the Hotel Laube was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
